It’s great news for everyone, and football fans in particular, who will from today be able to enjoy clips of all the highlights from the new season as they occur, as well as a whole host of other features.
Traditional football consumption requires sitting in front of a TV for two hours. However, modern fans—especially younger demographics—consume sports through highlights on social media. Free aimed to capture this audience by leveraging their "near-live" rights package (100% of matches available in clips).
My role was to design a mobile-first experience, centered around a "feed" experience similar to social networks, but with premium, official content.
